Meet Our Surgeon

Dr. Todd Schultz

Dr. Todd A. Schultz is originally from St. Rose, Illinois.  He completed his undergraduate bachelor degrees in Biology and Chemistry from Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville (2004).  He is a graduate of Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine (2008). He completed his residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry training at Sheppard Air Force Base, TX (2009) and residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Carle Foundation Hospital, in Urbana, IL (2015).  His clinical interest include: dental alveolar surgery, head and neck pathology, facial trauma, orthognathic surgery, and dental implants.  He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and a Fellow in the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.  He served over 11 years active duty in the United States Air Force.  He is currently a Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Air Force Reserve.  He works in private practice at Oral Surgeons of Southern Illinois in O’Fallon, Illinois.  He has volunteered time with A.T. Still School of Dentistry’s Give Veterans a Reason to Smile program and Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine’s Veterans Day application day and Give Kids a Smile event.  He holds a faculty appointment at Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine (Oral Surgery Dept).  He currently resides in Aviston, Illinois with his wife (Angela) and four children.  They are the joy of his life and occupy most of his free time.
